Everybody wants to be somebody

Another morning there was a young man who wanted to be a game developer. Let's call him Michal, because that was his name. He likes to play games and he thinks programing would be as much fun as playing games is. He can’t be far more from truth. It is John Romero’s era with his legendary Dangerous Dave, Wolfenstein and Doom. Like many others at his age, he decided to take programming classes. But first steps are not that easy and fun. They teach Pascal and Assembler at school. It’s hard to fall in love with those languages. Only the hard guys get through basic training. There is nothing he can do but grin and bear it.

No games, no fun so he moved from programming to computer networks. He built stable background at this field as well, but still reminds himself Arnold saying. Dig deep down, ask yourselves, who do you want to be? Not what, but who? And he knows it. He stayed with programming at university and it paid off. There is one life-time opportunity go abroad and study at university in foreign country. He moved to Denmark and there she was. Java. After nine years at school, graduation from computer science, five years of extensive work experience in the relevant field, he still doesn’t code games, but he is closer. It will come eventually.
